Creating art is so much more than painting to me. Many of my originals are quiet tributes to my sister, whose radiant spirit forever changed the way I see the world. She found joy everywhere she went and had a way of bringing light and a colorful personality into every room. She taught me to always look for the good, find little reasons to laugh (especially at yourself), appreciate the unique personalities of the amazing creatures around us, and always make happiness a priority.

Her perspective lives on in every painting I create. I use bright colors and often shades of teal, her favorite, as a small tribute to her vibrant spirit.
